Veldrop Lubricant Eye Drop is an artificial tear that contains carboxymethylcellulose 0.5%. It is used when the eyes do not make enough tears, or when screens, air conditioning, and dust leave them dry and gritty. The drop sits on the eye surface like a thin moisture film and eases burning, redness, and that sandy feeling. It does not treat infection. Use it as often as your doctor suggests, and finish or discard the bottle within four weeks of opening so the liquid stays clean.

How Does It Work?
Carboxymethylcellulose is a lubricant. It thickens the tear film for a short time and holds water on the surface of the eye. That extra film reduces friction each time you blink, so irritation from dryness settles until your own tears catch up.

Ans. Use it as often as your doctor advises, usually when the eyes feel dry. Do not use more drops than suggested just to get faster relief.
Q3. Can I wear contact lenses with this drop?
Ans. Do not use it while soft lenses are in the eye. Take the lenses out first and ask your doctor how long to wait before putting them back.

Ans. No. It only lubricates a dry eye. If there is pus, severe pain, light sensitivity, or worsening redness, stop and see a doctor.
